This was first time using the pen tool.

This one I took out 5 colors and made them white.  ALso took the Back ground out. 

This was the image given to us in Class to work with.

Blanket

On friday afternoon I spent the afternoon in the studio at school working on my one of my lighting assignments. Here are a couple photo's of what i was working with.

Fabric Lighting 

 

Today I worked on an assignment that we had to use a fabric to light. Here I used Scott Myers as my model holding my blanket that my great grandmother made from yarn. Here i was using a ferrall light and 2 strobe lights.

What were they looking at?

The View!

What is that handsome man and young man looking at? Well it's Saturdays sunset. It is 8pm on June 9th, 2012 I wanted to see how the light was on our porch. I set up a green background (only color we had at the time that was dark) and took a few shots at different angles. My Grandmother took the shot of me and Oh yeah This is my Grandfather I love him to death. Here is a 6 image banner I made with the sunset at the end.

For Our first Major Assignment we had to go fine natural looking letters to make the 2nd abc in 2 weeks.

Parks & Recreation 

THis week we had to do a parks & recreation blog posting for our Intro to Digital class. 

Taken this on a friday evening the 3 of us met up after a long day of school to take video's and photos of them skating.

Last night Patrick,Austin, and I went out about 8pm to get some great shots with the Perfect light. We went to some school where there was a 2 or 3 large pads a bike rack and a nice 3 foot grass gap. Here to the left is a shot of Patrick 3 feet over the bike rack.

Flash power

This week in my Small Format class our teacher gave us an assignment using our Flash. We had to photograph a person with different Flashes. using a flash as a fill balance and overpowered. all this had to be shot during direct sunlight. Well our sections lab on june 6th starting at 830am was pouring down rain. Well we couldn't do it and it had to be uploaded by 12.  Our teacher had there kid graduation to go too, so our Large Format Teacher Chuck Edgerton took over and helped out with letting us do this in the 2nd year studio with the bay door open.  Here is my image of the balance.
